CLUB NORTHWEST - LDR

Happy new year to you all and I wish you a great new year and even better new decade.

Thanks to those that have offered to volunteer Friday at the Resolution Run. I still need more people though. So far I've gotten 7 but would like to have about 20, if you can help let me know and I'll send you the information you'll need.




For those of you that receive support from CNW this would be a great way to show appreciation for that support and give a little back.

I've been contacted by the 12K's  of Christmas and they need a few more volunteers for the race this week end if you can help out -  

For them, they can give 'em a comp entry into the Reso Run as well as an event shirt (pretty cool...long-sleeve red).

Here is who I have running on Saturday, most are entered with a couple I'll handle on Saturday if they show. As far as rides go I think we'll need another car from the sounds of replies to me. Robinson Howell just offered to drive his van RH5552@att.com he'll be leaving from the Mercer Island park and ride on I90, if that is a good option get a hold of him and set it up.Anyone else up for car pooling?



I'll be leaving from Super Jock n Jill at about 8:00am, Regina is riding with me so that leaves 5 seats open.


Would be nice nice not to have a ton of people in cars making for a cramped, packed day of driving. So if you're driving and have room let me know.

If we don' t get more people than this then I'm not sure this is a worth while endeavor, at any rate I'll keep you posted on this. The deadline for entry for this event is Tuesday( they extended it for me)so I ned to know ASAP if you want to run.

and I'll enter you. The plan for now is to drive over on Saturday morning and return Saturday afternoon after the races. If you plan to car pool please let know so that I can have an idea who is going with who. I'll be driving my car and hold 6 passengers well.

Please get back to me ASAP as entries will close early next week and once they do I won't enter you you'll be on your own.

Nice to see everyone today and I would say most had fine runs, we were able to sneak away with wins in the team categories although on the men's side the open and masters were too close for comfort. As I mentioned to Carl though a win is win so we'll take it. Was also good to see a few of you walk away with some pocket change as well and thanks to Shelly and Z (jerry) for taking video for me.

There was also a lot of new faces out today as well which is always good as it creates more competition which helps with making better teams.

I'm in the midst of building a new and updated site for CNW and put up a new photo gallery and loaded the pics I took today there.
